The ‘Biotope’ is another critical aspect. Our research focused on the environmental impact, including the soil composition, plant life, and animal species in Bellefontaine.
We discovered several protected bird species whose habitats would be endangered by demolition, as well as bats, which are legally protected within a 10 km radius. Destroying their habitats would have lasting ecological consequences.
